Conference Fee

Early registration (important dates)

    • early registration fee: 310 EUR (participants from Poland - 1330 zł)
    • reduced early registration fee ONLY for STUDENTS ACCEPTED for the doctoral workshop: 180 EUR (participants from Poland - 770 zł) (this fee includes attendance of both the workshop and the full conference programme)

Late registration (important dates)

    • late fee: 380 EUR - (participants from Poland - 1630 zł)
    • reduced late fee ONLY for STUDENTS ACCEPTED for the doctoral workshop: 230 EUR (participants from Poland - 980 zł) (this fee includes attendance of both the workshop and the full conference programme)

The fee doesn't cover any costs of accommodation and travelling.

Basic rules

Paid registration is a prerequisite for becoming a conference participant (excluding keynote speakers and special guests).

Also authors of accepted submissions are obliged to register for the conference and pay the fee before the deadline (see important dates).

At least one author of each paper or poster should participate in the conference and make a paid registration. In case any accepted paper or poster does not have the accompanying registration of at least one of its author, it will be removed from the conference programme and proceedings.

To be registered it is necessary to complete BOTH the following two steps:

  1. To register online using a form available on the ISIC2018 website (see the instruction below)
  2. To transfer the fee

It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of his/her visa requirements. Registration is not a guarantee that a visa will be issued. More information about entering Poland can be found at: http://www.msz.gov.pl/en/travel_to_poland/entering_poland/

 

Instruction: how to register for the conference?

  • Online registration is mandatory.
  • Online registration should be made before transferring the fee.
  • To register for the conference, it is necessary to fill in the registration form available HERE. Please make sure to fill in all the fields and press the button SEND (at the bottom of the registration form).

After confirming the registration (it may take a few days) an email with detailed information on the way of transferring the fee will be sent to the email address indicated in the registration form. Then the bank transfer should be made.

 

 

Cancellations and Refunds

Any refund request should be made directly to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Cancellations will be subject to a 50 EUR cancellation fee before September 1st, 2018 (the date of sending the email with the refund request).

NO REFUNDS will be made after September 1st, 2018.

Author registration is non-refundable. Registration fees can be transferred to another co-author after receiving the permission from the organizers. ISIC enforces a strict “no show” policy. ISIC 2018 requires that each accepted submission be presented by one of the authors in-person at the conference site according to the schedule published. Any paper accepted into the program but not presented on-site will be withdrawn from the conference program and proceedings.

 

Visa Policy

 

1. Only the keynote speakers get the official invitation from the organizers.

 

2. All the other ISIC2018 participants receive the confirmation of registration for the conference (after the registration is completed and the fee is transferred to the ISIC2018 bank account).

 

3. The participants are solely responsible for getting visa if necessary. All the information about the process of receiving Schengen visa (valid for Polish territory) can be found at: http://www.msz.gov.pl/en/travel_to_poland/visa/visa

 

To find and appropriate consular office and learn about the procedure you can also visit: https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/

Caution: If you are going to visit several Schengen states, a Polish consul will be competent to process your application only if Poland is the main destination of your entry into Schengen territory or if Poland is the state in which you intend to spend most of your time.
